From the manufacturer’s Safety Data Sheet, Section 8
“No H335, H331, or H334 in SDS §2; the SDS §8.5.1 respirator language is generic 'where risk assessment shows' boilerplate, not a chemistry-driven directive. Used at ~1:256 working dilution with no aerosol generation. Situational for enclosed-space bucket-mixing without ventilation; in normal outdoor or vented use, no respiratory protection is indicated.”

TL;DR Version 6 of the rinseless wash that started the no-hose category: dip a mitt in diluted solution and wipe away light dust and fingerprints. One gallon makes about 256 gallons of wash solution at 1 oz per 2 gallons. It is a brand-new reformulation with no independent lubrication reports yet.
Mix one ounce of concentrate per two gallons of water, dip a microfiber mitt, wring it out, and wipe the panel down before a dry towel pass, the routine that built the ONR brand's reputation. It targets light dust, pollen, and fingerprints, not mud or road film, which still needs a pre-rinse. Optimum markets this version as slicker and glossier than earlier ONR formulas, a manufacturer claim with no independent forum confirmation yet.
Best fit for anyone without hose access, apartment dwellers and condo-garage owners, who wants to knock dust and pollen off a car with a bucket and mitt instead of a full wash. Skip it if your car regularly picks up mud or heavy road grime; that load needs a pre-rinse or a traditional wash first, since dunking a mitt into heavy soil raises scratch risk regardless of lubrication.
The SDS carries a WARNING signal word for mild skin and eye irritation, not a DANGER-level hazard; wear gloves and safety glasses when pouring concentrate. No respirator is needed outdoors. The formula is pH-neutral and very low VOC, well under CARB's threshold; the SDS reports no long-term aquatic toxicity and no Proposition 65 warning. Being rinseless, used wash water is poured from a bucket rather than run off from a hose.
The current SDS classifies Version 6 with a stricter mixture hazard rating (H315 skin irritation, H319 eye irritation) than the SDS for the prior formula, and its ingredient list no longer references any silicone-family ingredient. Optimum markets Version 6 as slicker and glossier, but that improvement is a manufacturer claim; independent detailing-forum verification of this specific reformulation had not surfaced as of this writing.
At the labeled dilution of 1 ounce of concentrate per 2 gallons of water, a single 1-gallon (128 oz) jug yields roughly 256 gallons of working wash solution, the same ratio Optimum has used across earlier ONR versions. That stretches one jug across many wash sessions for a typical daily driver washed weekly.
Optimum states that Version 6 is safe on paint, ceramic coatings, matte finishes, glass, and interior surfaces, but that is a manufacturer claim rather than independently tested data specific to this reformulation. The SDS itself is neutral pH and shows no aggressive solvents that would be expected to strip a coating or attack matte clear coat during normal use.
No. The rinseless method works from a bucket: dip a mitt in the diluted solution, wipe the panel, and dry with a separate towel, no connected hose at any step. The bucket of used wash water gets poured out when you are done, rather than continuous water running down a driveway the way a traditional hose-and-bucket wash does.
No. Both the Amazon listing and the product's current Safety Data Sheet confirm no Proposition 65 warning applies to this formula; the SDS states this explicitly in its regulatory section, and none of the disclosed ingredients appear on California's Proposition 65 chemical list.
