Uncap, touch the tip to the chip, and apply in short strokes; the felt tip limits overflow better than a brush bottle, though technique still matters on larger chips. Results are acceptable at arm's length on freshly-painted black paint, though owner reception is good, not great: owners note the universal toner diverges from aged or UV-faded OEM blacks. No clear coat is included, and multiple owners report fading within six to twelve months.

Best for small chips (under 3mm) on a daily driver with fresh factory black paint, where close-range visibility is acceptable. Skip it if the chip has reached bare metal · no primer is included and bare metal will rust. Also skip if the panel has visible UV fade; a paint-code-specific system will produce a better match.

The back label carries DANGER: eye-burn chemistry (H318 · serious eye damage), respiratory irritation with "do not breathe vapor" (H335), and skin sensitization risk (H317).
