From the manufacturer’s Safety Data Sheet, Section 8
“No H318 or H319 in SDS §2. SDS §8 lists safety glasses as a generic precautionary measure only. The paste form factor (no atomization, no spray) limits splash and mist exposure, so situational eye protection covers accidental contact when handling the paste or working overhead.”

From the manufacturer’s Safety Data Sheet, Section 8
“No H315 in SDS §2 (only H336 STOT SE 3). Tier derives from petroleum-distillate-dominant carrier: SDS §3 lists hydrotreated light alkanes at 41.9·49.5% of formula. Sustained hand contact during paste application with a carrier at this concentration warrants gloves per rubric §PPE guidance for petroleum-distillate-dominant carriers.”

From the manufacturer’s Safety Data Sheet, Section 8
“Petroleum-distillate carrier at 41.9·49.5% generates solvent vapors during application and haze time; H336 (STOT SE 3 narcotic) at §2 reflects vapor exposure at elevated concentration. No H335 at §2. Paste form factor limits airborne dispersion vs. spray or aerosol formats.”

“the primary objective shall be to prevent atmospheric contamination [via] accepted engineering control measures (for example, enclosure or confinement of the operation, general and local ventilation…).”
Triggered by GHS H336 on the SDS.

TL;DR Synthetic-polymer paste wax · expect 3·4 months on a daily driver, not the 12 months on the label. Strong water beading, forgiving buff-off. Prop 65 disclosure applies; wear nitrile gloves during hand application given the petroleum-distillate-dominant carrier.
Turtle Wax's Ceramic + Graphene Paste Wax is a fully synthetic-polymer formula · no carnauba. The protective film comes from a polyethylene and synthetic-wax blend modified with ceramic polymer and graphene additives. Apply with a foam pad, allow 5·15 minutes to haze, then buff off with one microfiber pass · the formula works even in direct sunlight. On a daily driver washed weekly, 3·4 months of visible water beading is the community-consistent window; the "up to 12 months" label claim has no community support.
Good fit for owners wanting ceramic-chemistry performance in a familiar paste format at a budget price, especially first-timers who need forgiving application. Skip it if you want carnauba warmth on dark paint (none in the formula) or if 3·4 month cycles are too frequent.
The SDS WARNING comes from the petroleum-distillate carrier (STOT SE 3 · drowsiness/dizziness from sustained vapor exposure). A California Proposition 65 warning applies: trace Triethanolamine (≤0.0075%) and Naphthalene from the petroleum fraction are confirmed Prop 65 carcinogens at any detectable level. The paste cures on the paint surface rather than rinsing off, limiting runoff. VOC is 248 g/L (SDS §9 declared 31% by weight) · CARB compliant.
The formula combines both ceramic polymers and graphene additives in one synthetic-polymer paste. Ceramic provides the hardened protective film and water repellency; the graphene additive is marketed for added slickness and beading. In practice the community-confirmed durability lands at 3-4 months on a daily driver, well short of the 12-month label claim.
