CarCareTruth's Analysis
Last reviewed May 15, 2026
TL;DR Holds trim and wheels dark and water-beading for 12+ months on community-tested daily drivers — durability is multi-source confirmed. Finish is overtly glossy rather than OEM-natural. SDS DANGER signal word (H304, H373); SDS §7 specifies use outdoors with ignition sources eliminated.
What it is and how it performs
A semi-permanent coating for exterior plastic trim, rubber, alloy wheels, and metals that bonds to the surface, restores dark color, and sheds water through repeated washing. Apply with the included foam block — wipe on, flash, buff off on smooth surfaces; on textured trim, skip the buff. Flash window on smooth plastics is roughly one minute, which catches first-timers. Community testing confirms bonding durability well beyond 12 months — AutoGeek forum threads documented 2–3 years on plastic trim, and multiple Amazon long-term reviewers corroborate 6–12 months. The label makes no durability promise; community data is the evidence. Finish is dressed and glossy, not OEM-natural satin.
Who should buy this — and who should skip it
Right for an owner who wants faded trim to stay dark through multiple seasons without reapplication and who accepts a glossy finish. Skip it if the trim is actively chalking — restore first, then coat. Skip it if you want a natural, understated look.
Safety and environmental impact
SDS signal word DANGER, driven by H304 (aspiration hazard, petroleum carrier) and H373 (STOT-RE Cat 2). Also: H315 (skin irritation), H319 (eye irritation), H361 (suspected reproductive toxin at mixture level per Canadian WHMIS, from toluene), and H412 (chronic aquatic Cat 3). H315 and H319 are situational — relevant during prolonged contact. H361 comes from toluene at 1–5%; no Prop 65 warning on the US label. SDS §7 specifies use only outdoors or in a well-ventilated area with all ignition sources eliminated (H226, flammable liquid).

Great product and super simple application
There are a number of good wheel coatings but to me this one is the best combination of easy application and result. It gives you a lot of working time and levels out very easily. Nice gloss and good hydrophobics.
