TL;DR Clears mild-to-moderate yellowing and surface oxidation on headlights and plastic trim in one hand-polish step, leaving a protective coating. Owners broadly confirm strong results on typical haze · skip it if lenses are deeply pitted or multi-year UV durability is the priority.
A mineral-abrasive cream that cuts through surface yellowing and haze on headlights and glossy plastic, then lays down a silane/siloxane protective film. Apply by hand or foam pad, buff clear · typically 10·20 minutes per headlight pair. Community feedback confirms solid performance on mild-to-moderate oxidation; owners report clearing 3000-grit sanding marks by hand in a few passes. Work it before it clouds over or streaking results. Long-term durability data is thin · the manufacturer's ceramic-protection claim lacks 6-month community confirmation so far.
Owners with mildly to moderately yellowed lenses who want a fast, one-step hand-applicable fix. Skip it if lenses are severely pitted · a wet-sanding kit handles that. Also skip it if multi-year UV durability is the goal; a multi-step kit with a dedicated UV sealant stage will outlast any single-step product.
This carries a WARNING signal word for two real irritant hazards at the mixture level: skin irritation (H315) and serious eye irritation (H319, Cat 2A). Both are translated straight from SDS Section 2, and together they pull the health score down to the mid-range rather than the near-clean tier a buffed-on polish might suggest. Wear safety glasses during application and gloves for prolonged contact. The petroleum carrier (Light Aromatic Hydrocarbons) warrants ventilation in enclosed spaces, though no inhalation hazard (H335) is classified at the mixture level. The flammable-liquid and aspiration codes seen on the petroleum ingredient appear at ingredient level only, not in the mixture classification. Buffed off with a cloth rather than rinsed to drain; aquatic toxicity data is unavailable in the SDS.
The Safety Data Sheet for Griot's Garage Plastic All-in-One carries a WARNING signal word, with classified hazards including H315 (causes skin irritation); H319 (causes serious eye irritation). See the PPE breakdown above for use-case-specific guidance translated from the SDS hazard codes.
CarCareTruth scores Griot's Garage Plastic All-in-One at 6.7 out of 10 on the composite CCT score, with a health sub-score of 6.0/10.
