💧Clay Lubricant

Clay lubricant is the slippery layer between a clay bar (or block) and your paint — without it, you'll grind contamination into the clear coat and leave scratches that need polishing out. A quick detailer or a dedicated clay lube both work; what you can't do is run the clay dry or use plain water. Mist heavily, keep the panel wet the entire time you're claying, and re-lube any spot that starts to drag. Pair with a clay bar and a stack of clean microfiber towels for wiping residue.
