Tekton is a Michigan-based hand tool brand that sells factory-direct through Amazon and its own website, bypassing the big-box distribution model. The Tekton 2435x micrometer click-torque wrench series, covering 1/4-in, 3/8-in, 1/2-in, and 3/4-in drives, built a strong owner following over roughly a decade as one of the most widely owned home-mechanic torque wrenches in the United States. Tekton has since updated the lineup to 90-tooth dual-direction models (TRQ-series), but the original 2435x series established the brand's reputation for reliable click action and honest accuracy claims at the ±4% tolerance level.
