TL;DR A high-VOC solvent formula that coats terminal posts and cable clamps with a petroleum film to prevent corrosion buildup · a protectant, not a cleaner; existing corrosion must be removed before use. DANGER signal word: carries a Prop 65-listed solvent classified for aspiration hazard, eye irritation, narcosis, suspected reproductive toxicity, and repeated-organ toxicity. Wear safety glasses and nitrile gloves; use outdoors or ensure adequate ventilation.
Spray the red-tinted petroleum film onto connected terminals every 3·4 months to prevent corrosion from establishing on clean posts · it does not dissolve existing buildup. Owner feedback is solid and supports the prevention claim; buyers applying it routinely report cleaner terminals at the next inspection. The high-VOC solvent formula produces a noticeable odor; outdoor or ventilated application is required.
