Health score is for adult use as intended, per the manufacturer's SDS. It does not model child ingestion, accidental spill cleanup, or off-label use. See the safety panel below for full hazard classification, and /disclaimer for the full editorial scope.
GHS hazard codes are quoted from the manufacturer’s Safety Data Sheet. PPE tiers below translate those codes and the listed ingredient chemistry; they are not CarCareTruth recommendations.

From the manufacturer’s Safety Data Sheet, Section 8
“pH 12 alkaline formula · validator W19 and the GHS05 pictogram both require eyes:required at pH ≥ 12. SDS §8 mandates eye/face protection. GHS05 on the label is for H290 (metal corrosion at ingredient level), but the alkaline pH independently drives the eye hazard.”

From the manufacturer’s Safety Data Sheet, Section 8
“pH 12 alkaline formula · validator W19 requires skin:required at pH ≥ 12. H317 (Skin Sens. 1 from d-limonene) is additionally present in SDS §2. SDS §8 recommends EN 374 chemical-resistant gloves.”

From the manufacturer’s Safety Data Sheet, Section 8

TL;DR Lifts oxidation, wax residue, and discoloration from plastic trim and dries clean with no added sheen · a dedicated coating-prep cleaner, not a dresser. The pH 12 alkaline formula triggers both eye and skin protection requirements: wear goggles and chemical-resistant gloves for every use.
Adam's Trim Cleaner is an alkaline trigger-spray for cleaning plastic and rubber trim before a coating or dressing. It removes oxidation, wax film, and old dressing residue. Community data is very thin, and the product has been intermittently out of stock on both Amazon and the Adam's website. Apply to a cloth or directly onto trim, wipe clean, and follow with a degreasing pass before coating. The high-alkalinity formula can etch glass or paint from overspray · keep application tight to the trim surface.
Best fit: the coating enthusiast prepping exterior plastic cladding or rubber seals before a ceramic coating or dressing. Skip it for interior soft-touch panels · the alkaline formula is not confirmed safe on sensitive interior materials and Adam's does not position this product for cabin use. For general interior cleaning, use the Adam's Interior Detailer or Leather & Interior Cleaner instead.
SDS §2 carries WARNING with H317 (skin sensitization from the orange-oil ingredient's d-limonene component). No respiratory H-codes at the mixture level. pH 12 is the dominant practical hazard: SDS §8 mandates eye/face protection and EN 374 chemical-resistant gloves · wear goggles and wear nitrile or chemical-resistant gloves for every use. VOC is approximately 2.3 g/L, CARB compliant. SDS §12 reports no biodegradability data. Orange oil sweet flags aquatic toxicity at ingredient level; SDS §13 instructs: do not empty into drains.
The product is marketed as a plastic trim prep cleaner, not a general interior cabin cleaner. The pH 12 alkaline formula is more aggressive than typical interior cleaners · test in an inconspicuous area before applying to soft-touch rubberized panels. Adam's positions this product for plastic and rubber trim prep before coatings or dressings.
No · this is a cleaning-only product, not a dresser. It is formulated to clean and prepare the surface for a subsequent coating or dressing application. After the surface dries, it should appear clean without any added sheen.
Both available sizes (4 oz and 12 oz) have been intermittently out of stock on Amazon and the Adam's website. The product is niche · it targets enthusiasts who apply ceramic coatings to trim. Check the Adam's website directly for restocking updates.
