TL;DR SmartFUSION full-synthetic media, fits the 2014-2018 Silverado 1500 EcoTec3, and crosses to ACDelco PF63. But the "99% Dirt Removal Power" claim cites a test on a different SKU, no independent cut-open is published, and the listing names both 15,000 and 20,000 miles.

The filter uses the larger 22x1.5 mm thread common to that GM small-block family. Always confirm your exact year, engine, and trim against Amazon Confirmed Fit or Purolator's part finder before buying.

No SAE J1858 or ISO 16889 multi-pass result with a beta ratio has been published for PBL22500 itself, so the CCT filtration-efficiency dimension is scored conservatively.
The PBL22500 gasket is ethylene acrylic, Purolator's 'PuroSEAL' material, per the feature bullets. Ethylene acrylic is a synthetic elastomer, not natural rubber, so there is no latex allergen pathway for this product.
