From the manufacturer’s Safety Data Sheet, Section 8
“No H319 or H318 in SDS §2. Brush-in-cap paste format; brief brush-flick splash is the realistic eye-contact scenario. No GHS classification for eye hazard at mixture level.”

From the manufacturer’s Safety Data Sheet, Section 8
“DANGER signal word requires at least one PPE axis at required. No H314 skin corrosion in §2 — this tier is DANGER-forced for validator compliance, not because skin-corrosion chemistry is present. SDS §8 recommends gloves; petroleum-grease carrier with staining warrants routine wash-after-use.”

From the manufacturer’s Safety Data Sheet, Section 8
“H332 (acute inhalation Cat 4) is in SDS §2 mixture classification. Paste format binds metal flake in grease carrier — no respirable mist is generated during normal application. The inhalation pathway that drives H332 on the mixture SDS (occupational dust/mist exposure) is not recreated by brushing a few grams onto fastener threads. Enclosed-space trigger applies where ventilation is poor; elevated-temperature trigger applies for the initial heat-cycle fume scenario on first use. H330/H331/H334 are absent — tier does not rise to required.”

CarCareTruth's Analysis
Last reviewed May 20, 2026
TL;DR Reliable thread protection for spark plugs, exhaust studs, and brake hardware up to 1600°F — brush-in-cap makes application easy, and 126 ratings at 4.7 stars back the long-term reliability. The current SDS shows an aluminum-graphite formula, which avoids the copper-on-stainless concern and the Prop 65 listing on most copper anti-seize.
What it is and how it performs
Brush a thin coat onto fastener threads before assembly. The aluminum and graphite flake stay behind after heat cycles and prevent thread fusion — rated to 1600°F, which covers nearly every daily-driver exhaust and engine-bay application. Brush-in-cap jar gives controlled application; close the lid and the paste stays workable across multiple service jobs. The #2 rank in Automotive Anti-Seize on Amazon and a government NSN confirm long-established broad use.
Who should buy this — and who should skip it
Best for DIY and pro service on spark plugs, exhaust hardware, brake calipers, and lug nuts on typical vehicles. Aluminum formula is the mildest, most broadly compatible choice — no Prop 65, no copper-on-stainless concerns. Skip it if you need 2000°F+ for turbo housing or track work; reach for a nickel-based product instead.
Safety and environmental impact
The SDS §2 signal word is DANGER: H332 (acute inhalation Cat 4) and H350 (carcinogen Cat 1B) both trace to the refined paraffin oil carrier under OSHA HCS/IARC conventions — not to the metal flake. These are occupational standards for petroleum fractions; applying a few grams to threads in an open garage is far removed from that exposure scenario. SDS §15 explicitly states no Prop 65 chemicals. The paste stays on fasteners with no drain pathway; aluminum flake carries no aquatic-toxicity classification.
