TL;DR Lifts dried mud, food, grease, and pet stains from car carpet without a wet-vac; the NON-MAGNETIC claim holds up across owner accounts and the carpet stays clean rather than re-soiling fast, but pet odors may partially return because there is no enzyme chemistry to break down the source compounds. No GHS health codes on the SDS.
Folex Professional is a 34 oz RTU pump-spray spot remover. Spray, agitate with a brush, blot; no rinsing, no wet-vac, no waiting. Community evidence confirms removal of set-in stains across dirt, food, grease, and pet accidents; the carpet stays clean rather than re-soiling within a week. No enzyme chemistry means the formula lifts the stain physically but does not neutralize odor at the source; established pet urine odors need a follow-up enzyme treatment for full elimination.
A solid pick for owners dealing with the regular spread of food, mud, and tracked-in soiling on cut-pile OEM carpet; it handles variety without a machine or pre-dilution step. Skip it if eliminating pet urine odor at the source is the priority: a dedicated enzyme formula will give better long-term odor results.
The SDS carries no GHS classification: no signal word, no H-codes, no pictograms. The pump-spray format inside the vehicle cabin is a specific enclosed-space mist scenario at face level during application; keep doors open during use. No aquatic toxicity, zero VOC; pH 8-10 at the upper range (moderate alkalinity); the SDS states the formula biodegrades; drain pathway via extracted or rinsed towels.
CarCareTruth scores Folex Professional Carpet Spot Remover at 7.7 out of 10 on the composite CCT score, with a health sub-score of 8.5/10. The CCT score blends real-world effectiveness, ingredient health impact pulled from the manufacturer's safety sheet, and environmental footprint against a published category rubric. See the methodology link on this page for the full scoring breakdown.
