From the manufacturer’s Safety Data Sheet, Section 8
“SDS §2 classifies product as NOT hazardous; no H319 or H318 present. Pump-spray directed overhead at headliner fabric creates a downward mist fallout vector toward the applicator's face. Minimum situational floor per headliner-cleaner rubric for overhead pump-spray application.”
— Folex

From the manufacturer’s Safety Data Sheet, Section 8
“No H315, H317, or H314 in SDS §2. Surfactant-based RTU formula; repeated blotting and pressing cloth against headliner creates extended skin contact. Minimum situational floor per headliner-cleaner rubric.”

TL;DR Lifts pet stains, hair-product grease, and set-in fabric soils from headliner fabric with a light mist and quick blot. No widespread board-sagging reports in the community; dries clean without residue. No GHS hazard classifications; overhead pump-spray in an enclosed cabin is the primary exposure consideration.
A water-based, surfactant-action RTU spray with no solvents, VOCs, or petroleum, bundled with a Folex-approved reusable microfiber cloth. It targets the soils headliners collect: pet accidents, hair-product grease near the dome light, sweat stains, food splash near sunroof edges. Spray lightly, agitate gently, and blot immediately. The no-rinse formula reduces board-saturation risk as long as application stays a light mist. The formula is designed to dry down clean without sticky residue; documented use is primarily on carpet and upholstery, so conservative technique on the headliner is the right approach.
Good fit for owners spot-treating standard OEM headliner cloth: pet accidents, food splash, sweat stains above the driver seat. The included cloth makes the workflow self-contained. Skip if dealing with Alcantara or microsuede headliners without confirming compatibility first, or if heavy smoke odor is the target, since the surfactant mechanism does not include confirmed enzymatic odor neutralization.
The SDS classifies this product as not hazardous under OSHA HCS 29 CFR 1910.1200, with no signal word and no GHS H-codes. SDS Section 9 confirms zero VOC and non-flammable. The three PPE axes (eyes, lungs, skin) sit at the situational minimum for overhead pump-spray use: mist fallback in an enclosed cabin is the exposure pathway, not the chemistry. SDS Section 12 reports no aquatic toxicity data; SDS Section 13 permits wastewater disposal.
The formula is water-based with no solvents, no VOCs, and no petroleum, and the SDS classifies it as not hazardous under OSHA HazCom. For headliner use, apply as a light mist directly to the fabric and blot immediately with the included cloth rather than saturating the area, since headliner backing boards can delaminate if soaked. Community evidence is primarily from carpet and upholstery use; headliner-specific outcomes are less documented.
This listing includes the same 32 oz Folex Instant Carpet Spot Remover formula plus one Folex-approved reusable cleaning cloth. The formula is identical to the standard single-bottle listing.
The water-based, no-rinse formula is designed to dry clean without sticky texture or residue under normal spot-treatment application. The key is applying a light mist and blotting quickly rather than letting the product pool in the fabric.
The SDS Section 9 confirms VOC content is zero and the product contains no solvents of any kind. It is also non-flammable, petroleum-free, and CFC-free, consistent with the label claims.
The product relies on surfactant action to lift staining. It does not contain confirmed enzyme chemistry for odor neutralization. It can remove the soiling that carries odors, but eliminating deeply absorbed smoke from headliner fabric typically requires multiple applications or a product with an enzymatic or oxidizing odor-treatment mechanism.
