Prices may varyThe manufacturer's Safety Data Sheet classifies this product with one or more GHS Category 1 health hazards — the most severe tier. The hazard statements in quotes below are the verbatim GHS language from the SDS, as required by OSHA's Hazard Communication Standard. The line under each statement translates the GHS classification into plain language.
GHS Category 1 eye damage — classified as causing irreversible eye damage on contact.
If swallowed, inhaled, or splashed in eyes:
Call Poison Control immediately at 1-800-222-1222 (US, 24/7, free) and have the product container with you. Poison Control's standing guidance is to not induce vomiting after chemical exposure; they will direct first-aid steps based on the specific product.
About this product's hazards. This product's Safety Data Sheet uses signal word danger. Read the manufacturer's SDS and follow all safety instructions before use. CarCareTruth ratings translate the manufacturer's safety sheet. They do not replace the SDS or substitute for a hazard assessment specific to your task.
Health score is for adult use as intended, per the manufacturer's SDS. It does not model child ingestion, accidental spill cleanup, or off-label use. See the safety panel below for full hazard classification, and /disclaimer for the full editorial scope.

TL;DR Manufacturer claims 10-year protection via ASTM lab testing, but there is no independent community durability data from a December 2023 launch. DANGER signal word driven by serious eye damage (H318, irreversible); wear full-seal chemical splash goggles.
This wipe-on graphene coating bonds to the clear coat and cures to a hard protective film. Apply drops to the suede applicator and wipe panel by panel through the 1-3 minute flash window, then buff clean; 48-hour cure before water contact, 30 ml per vehicle. The manufacturer claims 10 years protection backed by ASTM lab testing. Owners report positive results on gloss and water beading, but the sample is modest and no independent forum threads tracking multi-year durability exist as of mid-2026. No community comparisons against standard ceramics on water-spot or contamination resistance have been found.
Best for experienced home detailers comfortable with DANGER-rated chemistry and a tight flash window who want to try a graphene formula before a community track record exists. Skip it if you need documented multi-year durability; established ceramic coatings with 2-3 year community-confirmed results are the safer choice. The serious eye hazard makes it a poor fit for first-time coaters.
DANGER signal word. H318 (serious eye damage Cat 1) at mixture level requires full-seal chemical splash goggles with no downgrade. H361f (suspected reproductive toxin, D4 at 20-40%) also classified at mixture level. Flash point 55°C; outdoor application is fine. The SDS is dated 2020; verify against a current SDS before professional or repeated use. D4 and D5 are persistent and bioaccumulative per international registries; environment 5.25/10. No PFAS.
The 10-year claim is backed by ASTM laboratory testing per the listing, not community data. The product launched in December 2023 and the review base is still modest, so there is no independent forum tracking or long-term follow-up to confirm real-world durability. Lab tests and daily-driver conditions are different environments. Build your expectations around the community data gap, not the label claim, until independent long-term reviews accumulate.
The SDS carries a DANGER signal word driven by a trade-secret additive that causes serious eye damage (H318) and by D4 octamethylcyclotetrasiloxane (20-40%), which is classified as a suspected reproductive toxin (H361f). Full-seal chemical splash goggles are required; H318 is a Cat 1 irreversible injury classification. Nitrile gloves are appropriate during application due to the graphene oxide resin ingredient. Flash point is 55°C (131°F), so the formula is not flammable at room temperature and normal outdoor or open-garage application is fine.
No. The SDS lists a fluorine-modified silicone fluid (CAS 115361-68-7), but this is a fluorosilicone compound, not a PFAS (per- and polyfluoroalkyl substance). PFAS require fluorinated aliphatic carbon chains; fluorosilicones are a different chemical family. The SDS §3 does not list any fluorinated aliphatic-chain ingredients, which is the affirmative basis for the PFAS-free classification.
Canadian distributor carzilla.ca lists it as Studios Only, suggesting a professional-grade product. It is sold on Amazon to consumers in 30 ml and 50 ml sizes, and the manufacturer provides consumer application instructions. The tight 1-3 minute flash window and serious eye damage chemistry make it a higher-stakes application than spray-and-wipe graphene products; it is best suited to experienced applicators.
The SDS on file is dated July 30, 2020, which is six years old as of this writing. The product ASIN first appeared December 2023, so the formula may predate the V2.0 branding. Ethos does not publish SDSs on their US Shopify storefront; this version was sourced from an Australian distributor. If you need a current SDS for workplace compliance, contact Ethos directly at their Vista, CA address.
