Glass Microfiber Towel

Glass towels are short-pile, tightly-woven microfiber made specifically for windows — the regular plush wash-and-dry towels leave lint streaks on glass that drive you up a wall in direct sunlight. Use one dedicated towel for the inside (where film and outgassing build up) and a separate one for the outside; cross-contaminating them with wax or dressing residue is the fastest way to turn every cleanup into a smear-fest. Wash them on their own, no fabric softener (it kills the absorbency), and retire any towel that's seen the wheels or the engine bay. The Korean and German waffle-weaves outperform the cheap stacks at the big-box stores by a noticeable margin.
