A diamond-weave microfiber towel, 280 GSM, 80/20 polyester/polyamide, in a 16"×16" format. The diagonal pocket pattern lifts glass residue rather than pushing it around. Well-reviewed by owners, it shows no documented streak pattern on exterior glass. Interior windshield performance under direct morning sun has not been independently confirmed.
Built for the car owner who has tried standard microfiber on an interior windshield and still seen haze or ghosting under morning light, and wants a purpose-built glass towel with fully disclosed specs. For occasional exterior glass wipe-downs, a standard [microfiber-towel] is adequate and cheaper.

Machine wash cold · no higher than 104°F (40°C). No fabric softener, no bleach. Tumble dry low heat or air fluff. Wash separately from paint, wheel, or detailing towels to prevent cross-contamination from wax, silicone, or tire dressing residue. TRC recommends their 'Rags to Riches' microfiber detergent.
The 80/20 polyester/polyamide split · confirmed from Amazon product specifications · is the standard formula for split microfiber. The polyamide component creates the split fiber structure that traps and lifts residue rather than redistributing it. The 280 GSM weight is appropriate for glass work; heavier drying-towel GSM actually performs worse on glass.
The 16"×16" format (the 6-Pack root ASIN) is the right choice for interior glass, including windshields. It folds to a manageable size for maneuvering into lower dashboard corners. The 16"×24" variant is better suited for exterior glass coverage.
