The fully disclosed C10-C13 isoalkane solvent works by dissolving sludge, varnish, and combustion deposits from sensitive areas including hydraulic lifters and piston rings during a 10·15 minute idle run before the oil is drained. The manufacturer states decreased oil consumption and extended catalytic converter and DPF life · brand claims with no independent corroboration found. Best for owners of older or higher-mileage engines who want a cleaning pass before an oil change · particularly when switching to a new oil brand or after extended drain intervals. Skip if you are looking for an anti-wear additive: this is a flush concentrate, not a tribological supplement, and it exits with the old oil.
