CarPro Lift (1 L Pre-Wash Snow Foam)

CarPro recommends 1:10 concentrate to water for the foam cannon lance bottle as the labeled working dilution. Community usage on AutogeekOnline and Detailing World UK centers on 1:10 for heavily soiled cars and 1:20 to 1:30 for routine pre-wash on a moderately soiled daily driver. The distributor explicitly notes that 1:10 will strip waxes and some sealants — if your vehicle is waxed or sealed, run the weaker end of the community range and watch your protection layer.

The concentrate is alkaline at pH around 12 per distributor data, and the distributor warns that 1:10 will strip waxes and some sealants. Ceramic coatings are more robust than waxes and sealants but are not immune to alkaline strip events with repeated use at strong dilutions. If your coating manufacturer specifies a pH-neutral pre-wash, follow that instead. If you choose to use Lift on a ceramic-coated car, run a weaker dilution (1:20 or higher) and monitor your beading and surface tension for protection degradation.

CarPro does not publish a public SDS for Lift. We searched the in-repo CarPro SDS archive (98 PDFs covering 60 products) along with carpro-us.com, carpro.global, multiple EU and UK distributors, MSDS Digital, and Google filetype:pdf queries — none had a Lift SDS. Without an SDS we cannot verify the GHS signal word, H-codes, or working-dilution pH, so the health score is held at 3.0 per our no-SDS protocol and PPE tiers default to situational rather than required.

Auto-Foam is the enthusiast benchmark for touch-less pre-wash and has a full UK-distributor SDS — Lift's community reception is positive but does not match the Auto-Foam anchor. The dominant gap is documentation: Auto-Foam ships with SDS Section 3 ingredient disclosure and EU biodegradability data; Lift does not. Auto-Foam is currently out of stock in the US, so Lift is a reasonable in-stock alternative for foam-cannon users who do not need the documented chemistry.
