The distributor warns 1:10 will strip waxes and some sealants · check your dilution on protected paint. No public SDS, so health is held at 3.0 and the PPE call is conservative.
Load a foam cannon at 1:10, apply to a cool panel out of direct sun, and let it dwell. Community video owners describe foam that suspends and drips road film during the dwell window rather than just wetting the surface. CarPro tunes the formula for cling over peak foam yield · vertical hold is adequate, not best-in-class. It's well-reviewed by owners on Amazon. Not in the Bilt Hamber Auto-Foam tier, but a solid in-stock pick for foam-cannon users.
The right buyer is a foam-cannon user with a moderately soiled daily driver who wants a competent touch-less pre-wash from a respected enthusiast brand. Skip it if your paint is freshly waxed or sealed · the 1:10 strip risk is documented. Skip it if you need full SDS records.
CarPro does not publish a public SDS for Lift, so the GHS signal word, H-codes, and working-dilution pH could not be verified. Distributors report concentrate pH around 12 · alkaline enough that splash protection for eyes and nitrile gloves for skin are the honest call when handling undiluted product. Foam-cannon application outdoors carries no inhalation pathway from a water-base formula. Rinse runs to storm drain; mixture-level aquatic toxicity is unknown without an SDS.
CarPro recommends 1:10 concentrate to water for the foam cannon lance bottle as the labeled working dilution. Community usage on AutogeekOnline and Detailing World UK centers on 1:10 for heavily soiled cars and 1:20 to 1:30 for routine pre-wash on a moderately soiled daily driver. The distributor explicitly notes that 1:10 will strip waxes and some sealants · if your vehicle is waxed or sealed, run the weaker end of the community range and watch your protection layer.
The concentrate is alkaline at pH around 12 per distributor data, and the distributor warns that 1:10 will strip waxes and some sealants. Ceramic coatings are more robust than waxes and sealants but are not immune to alkaline strip events with repeated use at strong dilutions. If your coating manufacturer specifies a pH-neutral pre-wash, follow that instead. If you choose to use Lift on a ceramic-coated car, run a weaker dilution (1:20 or higher) and monitor your beading and surface tension for protection degradation.

Auto-Foam is the enthusiast benchmark for touch-less pre-wash and has a full UK-distributor SDS · Lift's community reception is positive but does not match the Auto-Foam anchor. The dominant gap is documentation: Auto-Foam ships with SDS Section 3 ingredient disclosure and EU biodegradability data; Lift does not. Auto-Foam is currently out of stock in the US, so Lift is a reasonable in-stock alternative for foam-cannon users who do not need the documented chemistry.
