CRC Industries has been formulating industrial maintenance chemicals since 1958. The company is privately held and headquartered in Warminster, Pennsylvania. CRC is best known to home mechanics for its carb-and-choke cleaner, brake cleaner (chlorinated and non-chlorinated), and electrical contact cleaners — staples of the small-engine and automotive aerosol shelf.

The product line is split between consumer/automotive aerosols (sold through Amazon, AutoZone, Walmart, and Lowe's) and industrial MRO products (sold through Grainger, MSC, and direct distribution).
