Long-term owner follow-ups on Detailing World and AutoGeek consistently report 5-7 months of visible water beading on a daily driver washed weekly with pH-neutral shampoo. Garage queens routinely report 8-10 months. The label claims up to 6 months; community data at or above that claim is a strong vote of confidence for the formula.

Palm Beach Motoring Group does not publish an SDS for the Wolfgang line on its website at time of writing. CCT searched the brand site, Amazon documents section, msdsdigital.com, and chemicalsafety.com; no SDS was found. This page will be updated with full GHS chemistry and PPE classification once the SDS is provided. Until then, the safety panel shows conservative situational PPE tiers based on the hand-applied liquid sealant format alone.

Both methods are supported. Apply a small amount to a foam pad, work in thin sections, allow to haze for 5-10 minutes, then buff off with a clean microfiber. Machine application via a DA polisher gives a marginally more even film; hand application yields essentially the same durability per multiple community comparisons.

Layering a polymer sealant over a cured ceramic coating typically does not chemically bond; the sealant sits on top and may fade faster than on bare paint. Most ceramic-coating users skip topping with polymer sealant and use a SiO2 booster instead. If you do layer Wolfgang over ceramic, expect roughly 8-12 weeks rather than 5-7 months.

Both lines come from Palm Beach Motoring Group, but they are formulated differently. Pinnacle Black Label is a carnauba-forward show wax; Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant is a synthetic polymer with no marketed carnauba content. Durability is significantly longer with Wolfgang; gloss character differs (synthetic clarity vs. carnauba warmth).
