CarCareTruth's Analysis

Last reviewed June 4, 2026

TL;DR Grand-touring all-season SUV tire with UTQG Traction A and Treadwear 800; all dimensions provisionally capped at 6.0 (no instrumented test located). M+S rated, not 3PMSF certified for severe winters.

What it is and how it performs

The Scorpion All Season Plus 3 is Pirelli's redesigned touring all-season for SUVs, crossovers, and trucks, sold across a wide range of 17- to 22-inch rim sizes; this page covers the model, not one size. UTQG: Treadwear 800, Traction A, Temperature A. Owner data from two platforms is positive for wet grip, tread durability, and ride quiet, with no premature-wear pattern. No independent instrumented test was located; scores are provisionally capped under rubric v2.14.

Who should buy this, and who should skip it

Right fit for a daily-driven SUV or crossover owner wanting a well-rounded all-season in common CUV sizes. Skip it for hard winters: M+S all-season only; a 3PMSF-rated all-weather tire in your size is the correct class.

Safety and environmental impact

Cured-rubber-and-steel construction; no chemical-exposure pathway in normal use. Prop 65 warning not flagged. All tires shed wear particles and 6PPD-quinone in road runoff; scrap tires are mostly burned or downcycled, driving the category's below-average environment score.
