From the manufacturer’s Safety Data Sheet, Section 8
“SDS §2 P280 calls for protective eye protection. No H318 or H319 classification at mixture level in SDS §2.1; the drimarene green dye has H318 at ingredient level (<1% in formula). Eye protection is warranted during spray application, particularly when cleaning overhead interior glass where mist can reach eye level.”

From the manufacturer’s Safety Data Sheet, Section 8
“SDS §2 H317 · May cause an allergic skin reaction. The drimarene green dye (skin sensitizer Category 1) is the chemistry signal. Sensitization is cumulative: a fraction of users become sensitized after repeated exposure and then experience allergic dermatitis on any subsequent contact. Nitrile gloves are the SDS-indicated protection.”

TL;DR Ammonia-free and safe for aftermarket tint, with a citrus scent the Adam's community favors. The safety data sheet carries a WARNING from a skin sensitizer dye in the formula. Wear nitrile gloves during application if you have a history of skin or dye allergies.
Spray onto glass or a microfiber cloth, wipe in one direction, buff dry. Ammonia-free and confirmed safe for aftermarket tint, hydrophobic coatings, and rubber seals. Community feedback is broadly positive on the citrus scent and reliable streak-free results on clean glass. Interior windshield film removal is adequate but mid-tier compared to solvent-heavier competitors. The formula performs best as a maintenance cleaner on glass that does not carry heavy outgassing haze or road grime buildup. The principal differentiator is brand fit: Adam's customers buy across the line for consistent scent and packaging.
Buy it if you are already in the Adam's ecosystem and want consistency across your kit, or if you value the citrus scent for interior work. Skip it if you have known sensitivity to azo or reactive dyes, since the green colorant is the skin sensitizer and avoiding the formula entirely is simpler than wearing gloves every time. Skip it for heavy interior windshield film cutting; a solvent-forward alternative handles that work better.
The safety data sheet carries a WARNING signal word from H317 (skin sensitizer Category 1), driven by the drimarene green dye at under 1%. Nitrile gloves are the SDS-indicated protection; the SDS also specifies eye protection for overhead application. The dye carries aquatic toxicity classification and reaches wastewater via cloth laundering. No ammonia. No Prop 65 disclosure. No inhalation hazard at normal use.
The formula contains drimarene green (CAS 633-03-4) at 0.1 to under 1%. This dye is classified as a Skin Sensitizer Category 1 (H317): 'May cause an allergic skin reaction.' Sensitization is cumulative · most users will not react, but a fraction become sensitized after repeated exposure and then react allergically to any further contact. Wearing gloves during application is the documented protection.
Yes. The safety data sheet section 3 lists only drimarene green dye as a hazardous ingredient; no ammonium hydroxide is disclosed. The brand markets the product as ammonia-free and the safety data sheet chemistry corroborates that. Safe for tinted windows.
SDS section 2.3 lists 'Toxic to aquatic life with long lasting effects (GHS category 2)' as a hazard not otherwise classified. The mixture does not formally include H411 in the section 2.1 label classification. The aquatic toxicity is reported at the SDS level and reflects the dye component's environmental persistence · it is a real chemistry signal even when not on the product label.
Different chemistry profiles. Invisible Glass is a solvent-based formula with a flammable label warning and a California Prop 65 disclosure. Adam's is a water-based mild surfactant formula with a colorant that drives the skin sensitizer classification. Both are ammonia-free. Adam's wins on scent experience; Invisible Glass has broader community validation for interior windshield film removal.
Community feedback on Amazon and r/AutoDetailing is broadly positive on the sweet scent. The scent dissipates within 10 to 15 minutes of ventilation. Some users specifically buy it for the scent as much as the cleaning performance.
