CarCareTruth's Analysis

Last reviewed June 4, 2026

TL;DR All-terrain with 3PMSF on sizes 315mm and narrower, UTQG Traction A, and 1st-place snow braking in a 2025 winter test. Main limitation: dead-last dry braking in the 2025 Tire Rack 9-tire AT test.

What it is and how it performs

Hybrid all-terrain on an asymmetric, silica-reinforced tread. Two test panels confirm strong winter performance: 2nd of 5 in a 2025 AT winter test (1st in snow braking and handling) and 3rd of 9 in the 2025 Tire Rack AT test. Dry braking is the weak point: 9th of 9. UTQG Treadwear 600 sits in the high within-brand band; no independent owner-odometer data confirms long real-world tread life. Available across 15- to 22-inch rims.

Who should buy this, and who should skip it

Right fit for truck and SUV owners who prioritize winter capability and all-terrain use over dry-braking. Skip if short instrumented dry-braking distance is the top requirement.

Safety and environmental impact

Cured-rubber-and-steel; no chemical-exposure pathway in normal mounting and use. Carries a California Prop 65 label warning (label fact; no health-score deduction). All tires shed tire-wear particles and 6PPD-quinone precursors; scrap tires are predominantly burned or downcycled, placing the category below average on environment.
