Community-confirmed duration is 1–2 weeks for the fragrance, with the underlying odor reduction lasting longer if the original source was moderate. Verified Amazon reviews with 30-day follow-up show inconsistent results on heavily embedded odors — smoke in headliner fabric and pet urine in carpet padding often need re-treatment or a different mechanism (enzymatic spray on the source first). The label's 'permanent' claim is reasonable for fragrance refresh, optimistic for severe embedded odor.
