No · the XWT08Z is tool only. It requires Makita LXT 18V batteries sold separately. The XWT08M and XWT08M1 kit variants include batteries and a charger.

740 ft-lbs is the fastening (driving) torque · the force applied when tightening. 1,180 ft-lbs is the breakaway (nut-busting) torque · the force used to break loose a fastener. The breakaway figure is what matters for removing stuck or corroded lug nuts.

Is the Makita XWT08Z compatible with third-party LXT batteries?▾
