CarCareTruth's Analysis

Last reviewed June 4, 2026

TL;DR Highway all-season for light trucks and SUVs with UTQG Traction A confirmed by an instrumented wet-braking result in the upper tier of its class. M+S all-season; no 3PMSF certification.

What it is and how it performs

The Grabber HTS60 is a highway all-season for crossovers, light trucks, and full-size vans. UTQG: Treadwear 680, Traction A, Temperature B. Tire Rack instrumented wet-braking data places it in the upper portion of tested highway all-seasons, corroborating the Traction A grade. Dry braking is mid-pack per the same panel. Symmetrical tread with an absorption layer targets highway comfort. The page covers the model across a wide range of metric passenger sizes.

Who should buy this, and who should skip it

Right for light truck and SUV owners seeking Traction A wet-grip and Treadwear 680 durability for daily highway use. Skip if winters are severe: M+S only, no 3PMSF, so a 3PMSF-rated all-weather tire is the right class for hard winter climates.

Safety and environmental impact

Cured-rubber-and-steel construction; no chemical-exposure pathway in normal use. Wear produces tire-wear particles and 6PPD-quinone in runoff, and end-of-life is largely burning or downcycling; a class-level condition shared by all tires.
