From the manufacturer’s Safety Data Sheet, Section 8
“SDS §8 recommends safety glasses or goggles 'if eye contact is possible.' H320 (Eye Cat 2B mild irritation) is the GHS basis in SDS §2. Spray application is the scenario where mist contact with eyes is plausible.”

From the manufacturer’s Safety Data Sheet, Section 8
“SDS §8 states 'Not normally required.' The SDS carries no skin H-codes (no H315, no H317); gloves are noted only for prolonged or repeated contact · SDS §8 is explicit that normal single-session use does not require them.”

From the manufacturer’s Safety Data Sheet, Section 8
“No inhalation H-codes in SDS §2 (H303 is oral-ingestion only; H320 is eye mild). SDS §8 cites ventilation guidance without a backing inhalation H-code in §2; enclosed-space spray accumulation is the one edge-case scenario where mist concentration could build.”

TL;DR One of the better gloss profiles in the carnauba quick-detailer segment, but technique-sensitive on warm panels. The health score reflects a Prop 65 warning on the product listing alongside WARNING chemistry.
Spray on 2·3 pumps per panel and wipe with a clean dry microfiber before it hazes · the paint comes up slick with a warm, cherry-scented depth that most synthetic quick detailers can't match. Community owners on AutoGeek and Detailing World consistently describe it as one of the better gloss results from a spray-and-wipe, particularly on dark paint and metallics. Cleaning is solid for light contamination: dust, fingerprints, and fresh smudges come off in a single pass. The catch is discipline · use too much or work in direct sun on a warm panel, and it streaks. Community consensus: use sparingly, wipe before the product flashes, work in shade. Good for lightly dusty paint; a visibly dirty car needs a waterless wash first.
Built for owners who keep their car reasonably clean and want a 10-minute touch-up between washes. Skip it if the car is visibly dirty. Also skip it for a coated car: Chemical Guys makes dedicated ceramic-compatible quick detailers, and this formula's wax content stacks on top of ceramic rather than complementing it.
The SDS (WAC202, rev. 2019) carries WARNING driven by H303 (lowest oral toxicity category · an ingestion hazard) and H320 (mild eye irritation, Cat 2B); the SDS lists no GHS pictogram as applicable. A Prop 65 warning appears on the product listing. No volatile co-solvents; zero-VOC formula; SDS §12 reports no aquatic toxicity data.
Community consensus across AutoGeek and Detailing World forums is consistent: use 2·3 sprays per panel maximum, and wipe before the product starts to haze. One pass with a clean, dry microfiber is the standard technique. Apply in the shade or with a cool panel · warm paint causes the product to flash too quickly, leaving residue behind.
Chemical Guys does not make a specific 'safe for ceramic coatings' claim for Speed Wipe on their product page. Community opinion on detailing forums is mixed: safe for occasional use, but not the recommended maintenance product for coated vehicles. Use a dedicated ceramic-compatible spray sealant for a coated car.
The WARNING comes from two GHS classifications: H303 (May be harmful if swallowed · Acute Oral Category 5, the mildest oral toxicity category) and H320 (Causes eye irritation · Category 2B, mild). H303 is an ingestion hazard irrelevant to car care use. H320 is a mild eye irritation classification · the SDS itself lists no pictogram as applicable. Normal application does not require gloves or a respirator.
Speed Wipe provides a gloss layer but no formal durability claim. Community consensus is that the gloss enhancement is visible immediately and remains through one typical wash cycle. It is a maintenance detailer, not a sealant. Apply after each wash for maintained gloss, or between washes to clean without washing.
Extreme Slick (WAC_211) is the polymer-based synthetic quick detailer in the Chemical Guys lineup. Speed Wipe uses a different formula with carnauba wax; Extreme Slick is a synthetic polymer formula without wax. Extreme Slick is generally described as more streak-forgiving with higher lubricity for scratch safety. Speed Wipe is known for delivering a warmer, deeper gloss. Both are competitive at the mass-market price point.
