TL;DR At 2.0+ GPM this cannon produces moderate-to-good foam coverage confirmed across community usage; dwell time unconfirmed. Stainless quick-disconnect is a genuine durability advantage; polyethylene body puts lifespan in the 1-2 season range.
1/4" quick-connect pressure-washer foam cannon with stainless quick-disconnect fitting, adjustable foam/air ratio knob, 360-degree fan nozzle, and a 33 oz polyethylene canister. Minimum requirement is 870 PSI and 1.3 GPM; most home-use gas pressure washers fall within range. Owner feedback confirms adequate foam coverage at 2.0+ GPM; output is moderate to good on vertical panels. The "thick foam" listing claim is supported by reviews at higher GPM setups, though shaving-cream density requires higher-spec hardware. Dwell time has not been documented by any community source.
Best for owners running a gas pressure washer at 1,500+ PSI and 1.5+ GPM who want a foam pre-soak step without the premium price. Skip if your electric washer rates below 1.3 GPM (a foam gun is the right tool) or if you wash weekly and need multi-season hardware. Note: listed as an Amazon Add-On Item, which requires a qualifying cart total to purchase on its own.
A minimum of 870 PSI and 1.3 GPM is required for basic operation. Most home-use gas pressure washers (1,500-2,500 PSI, 1.5-3.0 GPM) work well. Electric pressure washers rated below 1.3 GPM will not produce adequate foam; a foam gun (garden-hose-fed) is the correct tool for those setups.
It uses a standard 1/4" quick-connect fitting that works with most pressure washer snub-nose guns sold in the US. Some older M22-threaded guns require a quick-connect adapter (not included). Adam's sells a Snub Nose combo that includes a compatible gun.
Most users run roughly 4-6 oz of car wash soap per fill. The 33 oz canister typically holds enough solution for one full vehicle wash. The adjustable air-intake knob lets you tune how rich or lean the foam/soap ratio runs.
Run plain water through the cannon for 30-60 seconds at the end of each session. This clears residual soap concentrate from the jet orifice and canister. Disassembly for deeper cleaning is straightforward; the canister unscrews by hand.
The Standard uses a stainless steel quick-disconnect and a polyethylene canister. The Premium upgrades to brass and stainless steel hardware fittings, a wider canister mouth, and more refined construction suited for frequent or professional use. For occasional home washing the Standard delivers comparable foam output; the Premium is worth the extra cost for weekly-use or garage-professional workflows.
