Health score is for adult use as intended, per the manufacturer's SDS. It does not model child ingestion, accidental spill cleanup, or off-label use. See the safety panel below for full hazard classification, and /disclaimer for the full editorial scope.
GHS hazard codes are quoted from the manufacturer’s Safety Data Sheet. PPE tiers below translate those codes and the listed ingredient chemistry; they are not CarCareTruth recommendations.

From the manufacturer’s Safety Data Sheet, Section 8
“No respiratory H-codes (H334, H335, H332) in SDS §2. SDS §9 reports 0% volatiles. Inhalation hazard at working-solution spray in a well-ventilated area is negligible. Situational tier recorded for enclosed-space use per category rubric standard for chemical products.”

TL;DR Full concentrate · dilute 8:1 for general automotive use, 3:1 for engine-bay degreasing, up to 16:1 for light indoor tasks. Community confirms safe on paint, plastic trim, and rubber at proper dilution; alkaline chemistry strips wax, so avoid undiluted application on coated paint. The SDS signal word is WARNING from skin and eye irritation codes. No Prop 65 warning. Well-reviewed by a large owner base on Amazon.
SuperClean is a strongly alkaline full concentrate (32 oz). Apply at the dilution appropriate to the task, agitate, rinse or wipe off. The manufacturer's label chart covers four ratios across automotive, indoor, outdoor, and recreation uses. Community confirms effective removal of engine-bay grease, baked-on grill grime, upholstery staining, and laundry pre-soak. It's well-reviewed by a large owner base on Amazon. The alkaline concentrate strips wax and sealant at close to full strength · proper dilution and short dwell matter on coated paint. Quality scores 7.7/10.
Best fit for owners tackling real degreasing work: engine bays, grills, shop floors, and soiled upholstery. Skip it for routine paint washing · the alkaline chemistry shortens wax life even at moderate dilution. A pH-neutral shampoo is the right tool for that job.
The 2016 SDS §2 classifies this as WARNING with skin and eye irritation codes. The bottle's "DANGER: MAY CAUSE BURNS" is legacy pre-GHS labeling · no serious eye damage or corrosion code is present in the GHS classification. SDS §8 directs eye protection during concentrate handling and gloves for prolonged skin contact. No respiratory hazard: SDS §9 shows zero volatile content. The biodegradability marketing claim is not confirmed by SDS §12 ("not been tested").
At the recommended automotive dilution (8:1 or 16:1), community evidence shows no paint damage on clearcoat-finished surfaces. However, the concentrate is strongly alkaline and the label warns against contact at full strength. Do not apply undiluted to painted panels, and avoid extended dwell on wax- or sealant-coated surfaces · the alkaline chemistry will strip wax. At proper dilution, community owners confirm safe use on painted automotive surfaces.
The manufacturer label chart lists 3:1 (one part concentrate, three parts water) for the toughest automotive tasks including engine-bay degreasing. For general exterior washing and lighter contamination, 8:1 to 16:1. The bottle is sold as full concentrate · every bottle should be diluted before use unless the task specifically requires full strength (e.g., heavily caked grease on non-painted parts).
The front label 'DANGER: MAY CAUSE BURNS TO EYES AND SKIN' is legacy HMIS-style labeling language that predates the 2016 switch to GHS HazCom 2012. The 2016 SDS §2 GHS classification governs: signal word WARNING, with skin and eye irritation codes only · no serious eye damage classification and no corrosion classification. The SDS is the current hazard document; the bottle label reflects older regulatory language.
Prop 65 status is false per the Rainforest API product data (proposition_65_warning: false) and the 2016 SDS §15 does not list any California Proposition 65 chemicals. The SDS is from 2016, so this should be confirmed on any updated SDS when one becomes available.
Multiple owners and at least one YouTube demonstration (RickMakes, 4:22 video) confirm effective use as a laundry pre-soak for grease and oil stains. Apply concentrate or light dilution to the stain, let dwell, then wash normally. The brand does not specifically market this use case on the label but community adoption is broad.
