The Ultra 3 is an H11/H9/H8 LED upgrade pair with a passive aluminum heat sink and integrated driver. Headlight Revolution integrating-sphere testing (2025) measured 1,765 lm effective at 5,658K; the manufacturer's 4,700 lm raw figure is sphere-total, not road-going. Headlight Revolution documented a clean cutoff and controlled oncoming glare in a Honda Civic projector housing; no reflector-housing community beam photos have been located. With limited community data, longevity evidence is thin for a $259 product; passive design removes fan failure, but a multi-year verdict is pending.
Right pick for H11 projector-housing use where independently verified output matters and off-road-only status is acceptable. Skip if reflector-housing beam evidence is needed, or if DOT compliance is required; a DOT-stamped OEM halogen is the compliant path.
