From the manufacturer’s Safety Data Sheet, Section 8
“No H318 or H319 in mixture-level classification. Pump-spray application at face height inside the vehicle cabin creates a plausible mist contact pathway during close-range belt agitation.”

From the manufacturer’s Safety Data Sheet, Section 8
“No H315 (skin irritation) or H317 (skin sensitizer) in SDS §2 mixture classification. Manual agitation with a cloth or brush creates extended dermal contact · a plausible pathway for repeated sessions. pH ~10 is mildly alkaline but below the H314 corrosion threshold.”

From the manufacturer’s Safety Data Sheet, Section 8
“No H335 (respiratory irritation) in SDS §2 mixture classification. 2-Butoxyethanol ≤0.5% contributes negligible vapor at RTU concentration. Pump-spray application inside the vehicle cabin is a semi-enclosed space · general ventilation (doors open) addresses the generic exposure pathway without requiring respiratory PPE.”

This product ranks #1 of 4 in Seat Belt Cleaner.

TL;DR Cleans body-oil and grime on seat belts (sold as a 3-pack) · backed by a large community review base and Chemical Guys' explicit webbing-compatibility claim. No retractor-avoidance guidance in the instructions, so moisture control is on the user.
Lightning Fast uses an alkaline surfactant formula (pH ~10) to lift grime from fabric surfaces, including seat-belt webbing. Spray onto a microfiber cloth or directly onto the extended belt, agitate 15·30 seconds, then blot away · no rinse needed. A large base of owners across the SPI191 family confirms it on body oils, food spills, pet stains, and dried mud; seat-belt-specific webbing-integrity data is limited but no damage or stiffening is documented. The instructions describe a spray-agitate-wipe method with no retractor guidance.
A good fit for anyone who wants a proven fabric cleaner with manufacturer-confirmed seat-belt compatibility and the value of a 3-pack. Skip it if you want explicit retractor-avoidance instructions · dedicated seat-belt cleaners document that step; this one does not.
The SDS carries a WARNING signal word. H303 and H313 (least-severe acute-toxicity codes) appear in the SDS but fall below the rubric's deduction threshold. The pH of ~10 is mildly alkaline; skin contact during repeated agitation is a plausible pathway. Pump-spray inside the vehicle cabin warrants doors-open ventilation · no respiratory PPE is indicated by the chemistry. The formula is drain-destined via cloth laundering; SDS Section 12 reports no aquatic toxicity or biodegradability data. No California Prop 65 warning on the listing, consistent with SDS Section 15.
Chemical Guys explicitly markets this product for seat belts on their product page and in a dedicated blog post on seat-belt cleaning. The SDS reports a pH of approximately 10 · within the 6·11 range considered acceptable for nylon and polyester webbing · and the ingredient list contains no bleach, chlorine compounds, or strong oxidizers. That said, no independent tensile-strength testing for seat-belt webbing is disclosed, and specific community reports documenting webbing condition after repeated use are limited. The chemistry is consistent with fabric-safe use.
The product is marketed for cloth seats, carpets, upholstery, headliners, and seat belts. The surfactant-based, mildly alkaline formula is well-suited to polyester and nylon textiles. Use caution on delicate or natural-fiber materials; always test in an inconspicuous area first. It is not designed for leather or vinyl · a dedicated leather cleaner or interior detailer is more appropriate for those surfaces.
The application method is spray, agitate with a microfiber cloth or brush, then blot or wipe · no water rinse step is required. The product is designed for dry-blot removal rather than extraction. Community owners consistently describe a residue-free finish after the surface dries.
The product instructions do not include specific retractor-avoidance guidance. A careful spray-and-blot technique · applying to a microfiber cloth rather than directly saturating the webbing, and working section by section with the belt fully extended · limits the volume reaching the retractor housing. No application method is verified by community evidence for this specific risk.
