Triax

Triax LLC is a Texas-registered aftermarket lubricants blender selling full-synthetic engine oils, transmission fluids, and specialty fluids online, primarily through Amazon, Walmart, and its own storefront. The company markets its transmission fluids as direct replacements for OEM and OE-spec fluids across a wide range of makes, including ZF Lifeguard 6/8/9 (used by BMW, Audi, Jeep, Chrysler, Dodge, Land Rover, and others).

Triax's own product data sheets are explicit that its fluids are not licensed or certified by the OEMs they reference: they are formulated to meet or exceed the published specification, not to carry the OEM's own approval number. Independent lubricants-community discussion of the brand (Bob Is The Oil Guy forums) has raised questions about the company's manufacturing claims and corporate transparency, and the brand has limited long-term, independently documented field history compared to established OEM-licensed transmission fluid brands.
