Hyundai Motor Company is a South Korean automaker and the founding member of Hyundai Motor Group, which also owns Kia and the luxury Genesis brand. Hyundai Genuine Parts and Fluids are OEM-specification components manufactured or contracted to the same engineering standards used on the factory assembly line.

Many Hyundai Genuine fluids, including engine coolant, are built to a shared Hyundai Motor Group specification and are sold under both the Hyundai and Kia nameplates with matching or near-identical formulations. Hyundai's long-life engine coolant line has used more than one inhibitor chemistry across its model lineup over time. Owners should always confirm the exact coolant specification named in their vehicle's own owner's manual rather than assuming every Hyundai, Kia, or Genesis model shares the same formula.
