ATE is a German braking-systems brand with origins in 1906 (Alfred Teves GmbH, Frankfurt). The brand has supplied original-equipment brake hardware to European automakers for over a century, and its TYP 200 racing brake fluid is widely used in motorsport and high-performance street applications for its elevated dry and wet boiling points relative to standard DOT 4 commodity fluids. ATE-branded products are produced and distributed by Aumovio Aftermarket GmbH (the independent-aftermarket business spun off from Continental AG in 2025).
