NMS 2 was a heavily refreshed NMS Passat for the final US years. 2.0T as the only engine. Sedan only — Passat wagon never returned to the US in this generation. US production ended 2022; the Passat lineup was discontinued in North America after this generation.
Watch out: EA888 Gen 3 / Gen 3B 2.0T: standard carbon-buildup and PCV concerns. Limited production years and a discontinued US lineup mean dealer interest and trade-in values reflect that. Mechanically straightforward; nothing pattern-failure unique to this trim.
