US production at Chattanooga from 2022 onward (early cars were German-built). 2024 facelift updated infotainment software and styling. Major rival to Tesla Model Y in the mainstream EV-crossover segment.

Watch out: Early (2021-2022) cars had software-driven infotainment bugs and several stop-sale recalls related to door-handle illumination, rear lights, and a high-voltage battery campaign. Touch-capacitive HVAC controls drew widespread criticism. Range, charging speed, and overall execution improved meaningfully across model years.
