Toyota Tundra 3rd Generation

2022–2026 · XK70 · truck

The 3rd-gen Tundra dropped the 5.7L V8 in favor of a twin-turbocharged 3.5L V35A-FTS V6, with an available i-FORCE MAX hybrid version. Built on the TNGA-F body-on-frame platform and the first Tundra to use a coil-spring rear suspension. Cab styles are Double Cab and CrewMax. The composite bed and the new 14-inch infotainment screen are headline changes.

Watch out: Engine machining debris in the V35A-FTS 3.5L twin-turbo V6 led to a major recall and engine-replacement campaign for non-hybrid Tundras built roughly November 2021 through February 2024, due to potential main-bearing failure. Verify any candidate truck against its VIN at the Toyota recall lookup and confirm any engine-replacement work was completed.
