Toyota Tacoma 4th Generation

2024–2026 · N400 · truck

The 4th-gen Tacoma moved to the TNGA-F platform shared with the Tundra and Land Cruiser. Powertrain is the turbocharged 2.4L i-FORCE 4-cylinder, with an i-FORCE MAX hybrid version on top trims. New trims include the off-road-focused Trailhunter alongside the returning TRD Pro. Optional coil-spring rear suspension is a first for the Tacoma.

Watch out: Owner reports of early-build software glitches in the multimedia and driver-assistance systems on 2024 trucks. Generation is too new for a verified long-term defect pattern; treat any single complaint thread as anecdotal until NHTSA or Toyota issues a formal campaign.
