Toyota Supra Mk4 (A80)

1993–2002 · A80 · coupe

The A80 Supra paired the 3.0L 2JZ-GTE twin-turbo inline-six (320 hp US-spec) with a Getrag V160 6-speed manual or 4-speed auto. Naturally-aspirated 2JZ-GE cars are the budget entry. US sales ended after 1998; JDM production ran through 2002. Famous for handling huge power on stock internals — the basis of its tuner reputation.

Watch out: Owner reports of factory turbo ceramic-wheel failure on high-mile examples; head-gasket failures common on tuned cars running over stock boost. Most surviving A80s have been modified — verify originality and compression before buying.
