Toyota Sienna 3rd Generation (XL30)

The 3rd-gen Sienna ran from 2011 through 2020 with the 3.5L 2GR-FE V6 as the primary powertrain. A 2.7L 4-cylinder was offered very early in the run before being dropped. SE, LE, XLE, Limited, and the SE Preferred trim arrived later. AWD remained available, making the XL30 the only mainstream non-luxury minivan with AWD for most of its production. Mid-cycle refreshes for 2015 and 2018.

Watch out: Power sliding door cable failures continued into the XL30 generation. Toyota issued a Customer Support Program (ZKD) covering the power sliding door cable sub-assembly on certain 2011-2018 Siennas for 10 years from first use, with no mileage limit. Coverage windows on early XL30s have closed; verify VIN-specific eligibility before assuming any free repair.
