Toyota Sienna 2nd Generation (XL20)
2004–2010 · XL20 · van
The 2nd-gen Sienna shared its platform with the contemporary Camry and Avalon and was built in Princeton, Indiana. Powertrain started with the 3.3L 3MZ-FE V6 and switched to the 3.5L 2GR-FE V6 for the 2007 model year. AWD became available on this generation for the first time. CE, LE, XLE, and Limited trims; available 8-seat or 7-seat second-row configurations.
Watch out: Power sliding door cable assemblies on early XL20 vans are a documented wear item. Steel cables can fray and snap, leaving the door stuck open or closed. Replacement cable assemblies are a common service item on high-mileage XL20s; expect dealer pricing well above independent shop quotes.
