The XV70 moved Camry to TNGA-K platform. Dynamic Force 2.5L A25A-FKS (203-206hp, D-4S port+direct injection). 3.5L 2GR-FKS V6 (301hp) carries forward. 8-speed automatic (UA80E) on I4 and V6; CVT-style eCVT on hybrid. TSS 2.0/2.5 active safety standard. TRD trim added 2020 with body kit and lowered suspension.

Watch out: Excessive oil consumption on early A25A-FKS engines — Toyota has acknowledged the issue through dealer service campaigns and short-block replacements on flagged VINs; many owners report 1 quart per 1,000-2,000 miles on 2018-2019 cars.
