Third-gen Crosstrek stays on the Subaru Global Platform with significant updates. FB20 2.0L on base trims, FB25 2.5L on Sport / Limited / Wilderness. CVT only — the manual was dropped in the US. New 11.6-inch infotainment, EyeSight updated. Wilderness trim brings the lift / all-terrain-tire treatment to the small-crossover line.

Watch out: Owner reports of 11.6-inch infotainment lag on early units (carried over from the Outback BT pattern). Long-term reliability data is still building.
