Ram 1500 DT (5th Generation)

Fifth-gen Ram 1500 (chassis DT) launched 2019 with a fully new body, an optional 12-inch portrait Uconnect screen, and eTorque 48V mild-hybrid on the 3.6L Pentastar and 5.7L Hemi. The 702hp 6.2L Hellcat-powered TRX arrived 2021. EcoDiesel returned 2020-2023 then was killed. The DS body continued in parallel as 'Ram 1500 Classic' for fleet/value buyers.

Watch out: 5.7L Hemi MDS lifter failure carries over from the DS. eTorque battery (under rear seat) is a $2,500+ replacement when it fails. Early-build (2019-2020) uConnect 5 head units brick on update.
