Subcompact crossover built on the Mazda3 BP platform, slightly larger and more polished than the CX-3 it effectively replaced in the US. 2.5L Skyactiv-G I4 (186hp) and from 2021 onward the 2.5L Skyactiv-G Turbo I4 (227-250hp depending on octane). 6-speed Skyactiv automatic only. FWD or i-Activ AWD. Five-passenger. Premium-leaning interior, same materials/design upgrade that the BP Mazda3 introduced.

Watch out: Skyactiv-G family fuel-in-oil dilution pattern. On turbo cars (2.5T), cooling system and intercooler hardware matter more. Otherwise no chronic mechanical issues; this is one of the more reliable subcompact crossovers as of 2026.
