Lucid Air 1st Generation
2022–2026 · Air · sedan
Lucid Motors' flagship full-size luxury EV sedan, with first deliveries on October 30, 2021. US lineup: single-motor RWD Pure (430 hp), dual-motor AWD Touring (620 hp), Grand Touring (819 hp), and the tri-motor Dream Edition Performance and Air Sapphire (1,111 to 1,234 hp). Early Dream Editions delivered up to 520 miles EPA range, still the longest range of any production EV sedan. 924-volt architecture for ultra-fast DC charging. Built in Casa Grande, Arizona.
Watch out: REAL ISSUE: Early-build 2022 Air cars had high-voltage cooling system issues that triggered service campaigns; verify the remedy. Display and infotainment software updates were frequent in the first 18 months. Lucid is still a small-volume manufacturer; service network outside major metro areas is thin and parts lead times can be long.
