Soarer-derived Lexus grand tourer. SC400 (UZZ31) ran the 4.0L 1UZ-FE V8 with a 4-speed auto. SC300 (JZZ30) ran the naturally aspirated 2JZ-GE inline-six — the same block family as the legendary Supra 2JZ-GTE, available with the 5-speed manual (W58) on rare optioned cars, making it a sought-after swap base.

Watch out: SC300 5-speed manual cars are pricier than their condition warrants — verify the W58 transmission is original, not retrofitted. 1UZ-FE timing belt is a 90k-mile service item and the engine is non-interference; cheap to maintain but expensive to ignore.
