Lexus LX 3rd Generation (J200)
2008–2021 · J200 · suv
Second-gen LX (LX 570) shared its J200 platform with the Toyota Land Cruiser 200. 5.7L 3UR-FE V8 with a 6-speed automatic (8-speed from 2016), full-time 4WD with locking center diff, hydraulic active suspension. Built like a vault, fuel economy of a vault, depreciation curve that flattened early as a result.
Watch out: Owner reports of hydraulic-suspension accumulator failures past 100k mi (expensive to fix), and cam-tower oil weeps on high-mile 3UR-FE engines. Identical 5.7L architecture to Tundra, Sequoia 2nd gen, and Land Cruiser 200.
