Lexus LS XF40 (4th Generation, LS 460/600h)

The XF40 LS introduced the 1UR-FSE 4.6L V8 in LS 460 trim with an eight-speed automatic, plus the LS 460 L long-wheelbase model and the LS 600h L hybrid using the 2UR-FSE 5.0L V8 combined with a hybrid system. F Sport trims arrived later in the run. A heavy 2013 facelift introduced the spindle grille.

Watch out: Owner reports of self-parking and pre-collision system sensor faults on early units, air-suspension component wear (where fitted), and high-mileage water pump weeping. Hybrid 600h L brake-actuator service is non-trivial and the hybrid battery pack is expensive if it fails out of warranty.
