Lexus IS XE30 (3rd Generation)

The XE30 IS doubled down on the spindle grille and dropped the convertible variant. Powertrains: IS 250 (2GR-FSE V6, dropped after 2015), IS 300 (2.0L 8AR-FTS turbo four or 3.5L 2GR-FKS V6 AWD), IS 350 (3.5L 2GR-FKS V6). The IS-F (5.0L V8) was discontinued for 2014. F-Sport package is the styling-and-suspension upgrade most cars carry.

Watch out: Owner reports of remote-touch trackpad failures on infotainment, and oil-cooler / oil-pan gasket seeps on the 2GR-FKS past 100k mi. Pre-purchase: confirm 2GR-FKS is the actual engine on V6 trims (the 2GR-FSE and 2GR-FKS overlap in production years).
